Red face Kevin broke a tooth

It always makes me wonder how they break just one of their front teeth.

Kevin broke his left upper incisor, and I left it for a day so he could pick up food with his right one, but that looked chipped down on the second day, so I trimmed it level (I've been on the CCT Dental Health course) and the pair seem to be growing again nicely.

The lower incisors need checking too, to make sure they don't grow too long while the top ones aren't wearing them down. I'm slightly concerned that his left lower incisor is looking thin compared to the right side, but there's nothing to be done about that.

He's been very appreciative of my cutting his carrot and celery into thin sticks while he's been dentally challenged, but it hasn't stopped him picking up his pellets or his hay and chewing that.

He's eating and pooing fine, anyway, so he's doing well for an old man. He's six now!

As Saku got older, he would break one tooth. Never stopped his hoover-like appetite.

Give Kev a kiss for me.

Five days on you couldn't really tell he had done anything - both level and looking sharp. They're back to normal now.
