Wanted Wanted - Old towels and fleece - Guinea Pigs

Does anyone have any old towels or fleece that have seen better days?
Are they just gathering dust in the back of the airing cupboard or the under the bed just taking up space?

They do not have to be in great condition or prestine. They can ever be stained and have the odd hole!

They will be used for piggy bedding, as you can imagine we are running out of usuable towels and fleece in the rescue.

Would anyone be able to donate any to us?

I don't have any, but have you tried your local Freecycle/Freegle group?

Hey yes i have put several ads on our local freecycle, they are not keen on unregisterd rescues. I shall be adding another message soon.

You could try surrounding freegle/freecycle groups, there is no limit on how many you are members of, just as long as you live nearish by.

All freecycle/freegle groups are different, so where yours doesn't like rescues for whatever reason, you might find the next one in the next village along might welcome you with open arms

I got an old towel. It's too old for drying pots and plates. I was going to give it to my piggies as a chew toy. But you need it more.

wish you were closer. I go to local car boot sales and collect towels for the pdsa, but you could have them....

I still want to send a donation - is a cheque easier? I would use paypal if you had a way to do it, and send a bit more to cover your paypal charges.

If we lived nearer I'd find a way of getting towels to you, but the Channel gets in the way

Paypal payments can be made as a gift payment so that the recipient doesn't have to pay charges their end
